The priceless possession of our life which we just cannot afford to lose, we can just cross every hurdle to keep our hair naturally thick and shiny. Accept it or not, we tend to do and believe anything and everything about keeping our locks safe. In most cases, we end up believing in myths.
We are so possessive about our hair that even if we overhear someone cursing some hair product, we swear not to buy that product ever. But here is where we commit the mistake. We have grown up believing certain facts that are sometimes not true. Rather a myth!
Well, here are few hair myths that you need to let go of:
Haircut before one makes your hair thicker:
Don’t blind yourself to something that is hard to believe myths. Do you really believe that hair becomes thicker if you cut it before one? Well, you need to understand that there is no structural difference in the hair of a baby and an adult. It is all in the genes. If you have the genes for dense hair then your baby will surely inherit it.
Cutting your hair makes it grow faster:
It’s completely false! In reality, you only cut your hair short which does not affect the growth in any way. Seriously, if you desire a really long and thick hair, stop cutting the hair frequently and take proper care of it by conditioning and moisturizing. But if you don’t do so, you are miles away from your desire.
Dandruff is contagious:
This is definitely an absolute misconception. Dandruff occurs due to the extra work of your sebaceous gland which generates an extra amount of exfoliated skin resulting in dandruff. Thus, dandruff is not transmittable by using others’ comb. But that does not mean you can forget about your hygiene!
Boys and girls have different hair:
Hair is hair. You can hardly find any difference between the two in your naked eyes because there is no such difference. And Science also provides the same opinion since it says the anatomical structure of the two is absolutely identical.
These are few of the many myths and misconceptions that must be wiped of your mind immediately for the betterment of your hair health. Good people, stop believing in all these nonsensical facts because it neither has any base nor they sound sensible.
